Botswana, Victoria Falls, and Namibia
In our tour of Botswana, Victoria Falls, and Namibia, you will visit some of the World’s last wilderness areas. These include the Okavango Delta, the Moremi Wildlife Reserve and the Chobe National Park in Botswana; the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe/Zambia; and the Kalahari Desert of Namibia.
Start your African safari in Namibia, a country of stark geographic phenomena and cultural diversity. Namibia is a place where one’s breath becomes a deep exhalation of utter tranquility and peace of mind and heart.
Set the pace in Botswana exploring ancient adventures at the mystic Tsodillo Hills and the phenomenal Makgadikgadi Pans. Soak up the sun and revel in tracking the Big Game morning and afternoons in open 4×4 safari vehicles. Or, if you dare, track by foot via the ancient dug out mokoro and by motorized boat. The ultimate kick, however, is a safari by means of a spectacular helicopter flight at Eagle Island Camp.
There is a long list of extraordinary lodges and camps such as Eagle Island Camp, Mombo Camp, Chief’s Camp, Khwai River Lodge, Jack’s Camp and Savute Elephant Camp. The only limit to where and how long you stay is the time you have available, and the experience you wish to tick off your bucket list. You can upgrade even to cater for private safari mobile tenting, which is privately guided by the best platinum label guides Africa has to offer!
Time permitting, it is always a treat to start or end your safari at the world renowned Victoria Falls – whether that be residing directly at the Falls or at Royal Chundu Safari Lodge, an hour’s drive away ensuring a peaceful surrounding and your very own Zambezi Island Suite!
